Meet Troy J. Greenfield
Troy was raised in a UAW union household and experienced the benefits and stability of being the child of a union worker. She believes union jobs contribute unmatched benefits and stability to communities and families. Troy has been a member of the American Guild of Variety Artists labor union since 1997. She supports unions; she's in a union and will fight to keep labor unions strong.
As a performing arts teacher for over 20 years, Troy has helped to develop and empower students of all ages through arts education. The impact of teaching children to express themselves in various ways through performing arts is a valuable way to build confidence and self-esteem. Troy's love of the arts keeps her connected to students and families in her community.
Troy has been a grassroots volunteer and organizer for over ten years. Assisting with campaigns all over Cuyahoga County, she knows what it means to work hard to get out the vote for Democratic candidates and important issues. Troy will use her grassroots skills and approach to mobilize volunteers and coordinate a successful campaign to win House District 17 (Rocky River, Fairview Park, Brook Park, Middleburg Heights, Strongsville, and parts of Cleveland in Wards 16 and 17).
Troy works as a data initiatives and research professional in Cuyahoga County. Her work focuses on organizations' diversity, equity, and inclusion achievements in Northeast Ohio. It has been proven that diversity in the workplace adds to the development of concepts and ideas and provides a thriving and rewarding work environment for employees.
Troy will fight for our freedom, security, and our privacy. She will work to restore our rights to reproductive medical care, support fully funded public schools that serve all students, and work for an economy that offers stability to middle-class households and families.
